Focus on early detection
06.06.2025 - The UMMD is launching a study on the early detection of stomach cancer. The aim is to create the basis for a future screening programme and to diagnose stomach cancer more frequently at an early, easily treatable stage. Study participants are currently still being sought.
Rare double qualification
16.06.2025 - Dr Gert Warncke from the UMMD has achieved an impressive dual qualification. In addition to his specialist training in paediatrics and adolescent medicine, he has also successfully passed the examination to become a specialist in anaesthesiology. This makes him one of the few highly specialised doctors in Germany.
